Carson Lance is the current Secretary of the Student Government Association. A senior Fashion Merchandising major with a minor in Marketing, Carson began his involvement with SGA as a sophomore Academic Affairs Chairman, Rules & Constitution Committee member, and At-Large Senator. He is a native of Boonville, IN.

Carson is a proud brother in the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta, also known as FIJI, where he has held such positions as Academic Affairs/Membership Development and Community Service Chair. Carson has also served on the Interfraternity Council as the Vice President of Administration and as a chapter delegate for FIJI. He is also the current Greek Week Director and has served as the past Variety Show Coordinator. Carson has also served on other campus organizations such as the Greek Connections Team, Greek Peer Mentors, and the Multicultural Council.

• Coordinates the operation of the Student Government Association office.
• In charge of the hiring and firing of all Student Government Association office workers.
• Serves as the executive secretary for Student Senate and the Executive Brach.
  
• Is responsible for the publishing and distribution of all minutes.
• Maintains correspondence to all entities from the Student Government Association.
• Serves on the Credentials Board as an ex-officio, non-voting member.
• Serves on the University Senate Student Center Committee.
